He first started performing stand up on the London circuit whilst at University in 1991 for “something to do”. He soon turned it into a full time job and has been performing and writing for himself and others ever since. Mark’s most recent show, Love Me Tinder, was based on his experiences on the online dating scene after finding himself unexpectedly single at the age of 40. It received huge acclaim and led to an appearance on BBC Radio 5Live. His new show, Mark Jones is Set In His Ways is currently in production, and can be seen in theatres and comedy clubs later this year.
Mark is also a skilful and in-demand presenter of live events and functions. Recent clients include O2, HQ Theatres, Brunel University Festival, The Hillingdon Book of the Year Awards, and Penguin/Random House Publishing. Mark’s versatility make him the ideal choice to host awards ceremonies, charity auctions, product launches, industry conferences and any other events that require a safe pair of hands and an entertaining compere.
